Ever since the interplanetary teleport system ‘Hyper Jump’ has been built and commercialized, humanity has expanded way beyond Earth and developed life in outer space. It is around then that evil spirits known as Mara started to possess new machines and robots, taking over and deconstructing their form so they can attack and kill humans. So, the sun put up large bounties on Mara for shamans and sorcerers to take.
 

Those who collect these bounties became known as ‘Shaman Hunters'.

Shaman Hunters are classified in two types: ‘Pure Shaman Hunters’ who are born with innate spiritual power and ‘Mecha Shaman Hunters’ who acquire their powers and use various mechanics to battle.
